The moral and ethical code of ideal policing is embedded in the principles of police reforms.

Uttar Pradesh Police doesn’t know,how to perform the basic function of policing.Police administration in Uttar Pradesh is running only because of political blessings,without having any professionalism.

The issue of police reforms is not a political one,which can be sell with the brand name of any party,nor it is an economic one,which can become a chapter of financial management.It is an issue of national pride and sanctity of nationalism,which has to be implemented by the states.

Performing yoga exercise by a policeman is a decent symbol of improving management of policing in Uttar Pradesh.But,would yoga exercise be able to contain the political pressure? Would yoga exercise be able to bring rational changes in working hours of policeman? Would yoga exercise be able to bring police reforms? Would yoga exercise be able to make senior police officers accountable? I do agree that yoga exercise can reduce the mental and psychological pressure of a policeman for sometime,but who will bring the structural and managerial changes in police administration,this is a question,which Chief Minister should answer to the people.

The proposal of creating a new post of Joint Superintendent of Police in Uttar Pradesh,serves no meaning and purpose.In the past,Uttar Pradesh Government done various experiments in name of improving law and order and making police administration efficient and effective,by creating new posts,but those experiments have been failed and it made police administration more inefficient,ineffective and unresponsive.I am totally unable to understand that what is the motive of  creating this new post,just because to promote some PPS Officers,who completed a certain age and period of service.What will happen with the criteria of performance appraisal? What will happen with the criteria of merit,and most importantly who will answer to the existing problem of lack of coordination in police administration? This is totally a rubbish idea and it will only create a new layer of inefficient and unnecessary police hierarchical structure.

Police reforms is a thought of creating a new and conducive environment for the most important stakeholder of democracy i.e. , a common man.It is a process of creating a space for rational thinking about how we can create an ideal model of policing.

Police officers appointed on the basis of caste and religion,create the ghost of despotism,which creates a terrible experience for a common man when he/she deals with police administration.Uttar Pradesh Government should explain the motive and purpose of creating this kind of police force,where police officer is acting like an anarchist and no place has been left for the concern of a common man.

Touching the feet of a politician by Senior Superintendent of Police,is showing the kind of disaster from which Uttar Pradesh Police is going through.SSP of Etah,destroyed the ethos and values of public service as well as the police service.He has shown complete disrespect to his uniform.He proved himself as a vigorous admirer of political mindset.He proved himself as an evil of promotion.He should take the retirement from Indian Police Service and join the Indian Political Service,where he will get a better chance to serve his political masters and,definitely he deserves to become the BEST POLITICAL STUDENT.

When political theory finds its place in the functioning of police department,then police force is not able to perform its primary task of maintaining law and order in the state,and the same is happening in Uttar Pradesh.

Superintendent of Police is the Police Chief of a district.He /she must be held accountable for every crime occurring in the district.No joke in being a Police Chief of a district.SP is the incharge of all police stations in a district,so he must be held accountable for every action of SHO. District Police Chief should feel the heat of dismissal on any kind of carelessness.If SP is not able to discharge the duty as a  leader of  district police administration,then he should be sacked immediately.
